Feeding the fad... My first entry

I keep seing blogs popping up all over the net. Some are really cool, some are boring and some downright offensive. But they're all here for a common reason: people's need to express themselves [almost] freely. This makes blogging a neat concept, even though I admit it's a fad that will be short-lived.

This is my very first attempt at making a blog. I said to myself "What the heck!" and decided to sign up for a Blogger account.

Will I be using this again? I must say I honestly doubt it, but I did want to customize my page and see at least one post, which is why I am creating this one.

    Well, here is your first post. I agree it is an interesting concept to just post your thoughts for all the world to thumb through, but I, too, decided to try it. The biggest reason I jumped in was just have a place to put down on "paper" what is going on right now. I love to scrapbook and find this form of journaling a good way to keep up with thoughts for my scrapbooks. Maybe you will find that you do "like" writing about your everyday thoughts and you will continue to blog. Either way, good luck and good night! top

    Paula, so how did you find my blog minutes after I created it? Remember I am a newbie, so I don't know how these things work. I assume you can find a list of the laters signups on the main page or something like that.

    And I agree with you. Something like this could be used as a public personal diary, but then again, who is going to be reading it? top
